Biography of Jae Ho Lee, Assistant Conductor Dr. Jae Ho Lee, Assistant Conductor, majored in Voice Performance at Chongshin University in Seoul. During his school years, he directed the Chongshin Men’s Choir from 2002 to 2004 in which time the choir performed regular concerts and had nationwide tour. Especially in 2003, the choir won the Gold Prize Award for the National College Student Chorus Contest commemorating the Daegu Summer Universiade.

In the United States, his studies continue at Arizona State University of Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, School of Music where he earned a Master of Music with Dr. Gregory Gentry. Then he hold a Doctoral of Music Arts Degree in Choral Conducting from The University of Arizona of the Fred Fox School of Music with Dr. Bruce Chamberlain and Dr. Elizabeth Schauer. While in Arizona he taught undergraduate courses in choral class as a Graduate teaching Assistant and accepted a full scholarship to The University of Arizona.

In 2014 Dr. Lee became assistant conductor at Daegu City Choir where he made his debut at Daegu Concert House for the 127th regular concert of the choir. He also had worked on developing for Daegu Youth Choir until 2016. Previously, he taught undergraduate classes in Hannam University as a music director and a full-time instructor. During his teaching his choir performed regular concerts and Handel’s Messiah. In winter 2018 he accepted an appointment as assistant conductor of Suwon City Chorale. He is working hardly in partnership with the Artistic Director and choir members. Not only he assists all rehearsals and performances intensively, but he directs all ensembles of the choir.
