Resident Director Jae-Hyeong Sim Resident Director, Jae-Hyeong Sim was conferred the B.A.directing degree from Dongguk University, and M.A. directing degree (Academic Advisor: Min-SooAhn) from the same graduate school. After the graduation, he went to study in America.
He was conferred the M.F.A.
directing degree (Academic
Advisor : Michael Landman)
from University of Arkansas (USA).
After the graduation, he had
directed theatre in New York
for some years.

After coming back to work at the homeland, he teaches the students in many universities in South Korea, and directs a lot of performances. Now, he is working in the Suwon City Performance Company as a founding member.

Before working at Suwon City Performance Company, he had directed and produced Musical “Lee- Ok”, Musical “Change”, Play “The Time We Break up”, Play“Oleanna”, Play “Propose”, Concert “Love and Thanks Concert”, Play “The Year, The Story about the Pier”. Andnow, he supervises rehearsals and education programs as a director or an acting coach at the Suwon City Performance Company.

Muye 24 Permanent director Hyeong-Guk Choi It is not an overstatement to say that Hyeong-Guk Choi has lived all of his life for the Korean muye history. Starting from receiving a doctorate in Korean history, he has been studying the history of culture, war and muye with Kyonggi University.Choi is also the author of numerous books and theses.
Consequently, his works
have contributed
significantly in Korean
muye history.

Then he consecutively filled various posts, such as the Head of Muye 24 and the Director of the Korean Traditional Muye Research Center, devoting himself to preserve and develop traditional muye, especially in Suwon. And most recently, he is making great sacrifices to the development of culture and tourism in Suwon as a permanent director of Suwon City Performance Company.
